An update in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

I have no doubt you are fully occupied with the impact of the Coronavirus on yourself and your family at this time and taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of family, friends and neighbours.

So sailing, whether it be for training, mile building or a planned trip for leisure purposes is not presently at the forefront of your mind.

So I will be brief.

As a business we have sought to reflect and take heed of government advice in these unprecedented circumstances and ensure this temporary disruption is successfully managed so that we can resume operations as soon as it is safe to do so.

Accordingly we have taken the decision to suspend all practical water and shorebased activities until further notice. All online training courses (include both our own and the RYA’s) are unaffected.

In the first instance this will mean that all courses, events and scheduled sails in April and May will need to be postponed and rescheduled.  If you have a booking during this period, we will of course be in contact with you on an individual basis 4-6 weeks before your intended course date or sailing to offer alternative dates.  This process will commence this from Monday 23rd March 2020.

The situation is developing rapidly so it also seems likely that our June dates will also be affected but we will await further developments before taking any decisions about these.

If HMG are successful in suppressing the peak and decide to reduce the social limitations currently in place, it is possible we may be able to resume our sailing schedule in mid to late June or July but only time will tell whether this will be achievable.

We trust you will all stay safe and be unaffected.
