Learning to sail is rewarding and great for personal development.

If you are new to sailing, or have RYA qualifications in your sights we have the right course for you.

Perhaps you have been on a leisure cruise and want to learn more about sailing and are unsure where to start?  Here at Viking Mariners we can guide you through your entire sailing journey, from the basics of navigation all the way through to week-long mileage building trips to foreign climes.

New to sailing?
When learning to sail it’s important to choose a sea school that offers RYA (Royal Yachting Association) accredited training.  We offer the full range of RYA Yacht Sailing Courses.  If you are new to sailing and looking for the ideal starting point we recommend enrolling on our RYA Start Yachting course, which is a two day introduction to the basics of sailing.

RYA courses and mileage building for more experienced sailors.
If you have your first few RYA qualifications under your belt and are keen to build on your knowledge we are here to help.  We offer training for the highly respected, and internationally recognised Yachtmaster™ qualification.  In preparation for the Yachtmaster™ training we offer shore-based theory courses and mileage building opportunities.

Where ever you are on your sailing journey Viking Mariners RYA Sea School is here to help you get the most from your sailing and skippering.
We have a number of luxury yachts and catamarans available. Our courses are relaxed, friendly and led by experienced and knowledgeable instructors. You can learn to sail with us here in the UK, or our training centre in Alicante (in Spain).
